BoyNextDoor is a South Korean boy band under KOZ Entertainment. The BoyNextDoor members include: Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak. They debuted on May 30 with their lead single “Who!” which got over 200 million views. Zico, a rapper-producer, led KOZ Entertainment under Hybe Corporation in 2019 and lunched Boy next door HYBE group.
BoyNextDoor Debut
Their debut single album included songs like BoyNextDoor debut song “But I Like You” and “One and Only”, released with music videos. Zico was involved in creating Boy Next door debut album, and members like Jaehyun, Taesan, and Woonhak helped with composing and writing lyrics.
In July 2023, KOZ announced their upcoming release titled “Why…” set for September. They revealed the EP’s artwork in August, featuring a simple image of a carousel ride.
On November 7, 2023, the group re-released “Fade Away”, a song featured in the webtoon “Garbage Time”. Recently, on February 13, 2024, it was announced that BoyNextDoor will be releasing a new album in April 2024.

Jaehyun
Jaehyun is the leader of his group. He was born on December 4th, 2003, in South Korea. He loves dogs and enjoys playing soccer. Jaehyun train at a place called Def Dance Skool. He can rap, sing, and dance. He’s good at giving helpful advice and making things fun. The member of the group led a sports team at school and enjoys playing soccer and golf. He is one of the liveliest BOYNEXTDOOR members and likes connecting with fans.
Sungho
Sungho is the main vocalist in the group. He was born on September 4th, 2003, in South Korea. He loves foxes and enjoys cycling. The young boy was in a band during middle school. He’s known for his broad shoulders and clear skin. Besides music, he likes going to cafes and taking photos. He’s passionate about sharing his voice with others and making a positive impact in the music industry.
Riwoo
Among all the BoyNextDoor members, Riwoo is the main dancer in the group. He was born on October 22nd, 2003, in South Korea. He loves otters. Riwoo went to Hanlim Multi Art School and has a supportive family with an older brother and a younger brother and enjoys dancing a lot. Riwoo has been to dance classes at Def Dance Skool. He’s been in many dance talent shows too. His friends in the group call him ‘Our Riwoo’. He has a sweet tooth and loves eating desserts. He has a cute Pomeranian dog named Daebak-i. Riwoo is determined and works hard in everything he does, showing the group’s spirit of never giving up.
Taesan
Next in line for the Boy next door kppop members is Taesan. He is a talented member of the group. He was born on August 10th, 2004, in South Korea. He’s like a black cat emoji. He went to Chungdam High School and has a family with a younger brother and sister. Even though he’s a bit quiet, he’s really good at a lot of things. He’s great at making music and enjoys producing songs. He likes bands like NIRVANA and The Carpenters. He even has a special album from NIRVANA, given to him by Jaehyun. His dad’s love for Shin Hae Chul inspired him to pursue music. He’s also a fan of Oasis and recommends their song ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’. Taesan is dedicated to making music and wants to share it with everyone.
Leehan
One of the most popular Boy Next door members is Leehan. He was born on October 20th, 2004, in South Korea and has Libra zodiac sign. He’s interested in fishes and plants and grew up in Busan with his parents and older sister. He went to Anrak Middle School. He likes taking care of fishes, especially the corydoras kind. Leehan is good at decorating fish tanks too. Even in his dorm, there’s a fish tank provided by KOZ Ent. with cardinal tetras and corydoras. Leehan’s love for fish adds something different to the group’s dynamic.
Woonhak
Boy next door profile of Woonhak reveals that he is the youngest member of the group, called the Maknae. He was born on November 29th, 2006, in South Korea and has a Sagittarius zodiac sign and is proud Korean. He’s as warm and cuddly as a teddy bear and belongs to the Suwon city. Woonhak has a close relationship with his parents and younger sister. He became a trainee in 2020 because he always dreamed of being a singer. The friendly and outgoing, loves to make friends with other trainees and members. He’s a big fan of Michael Jordan and looks up to him. Woonhak is known for being positive and spreading happiness to everyone around him, making him a favorite among his group mates.

Jungkook from BTS shared about meeting the new boy group BOYNEXTDOOR from HYBE LABELS. He thought they were very cute and couldn’t stop thinking about it. For BOYNEXTDOOR, meeting Jungkook was a big deal because he’s a famous idol. JAEHYUN, a member of BOYNEXTDOOR kpop group, shared his feelings about meeting Jungkook on an online fan community.
On July 27, Jungkook went live on video to chat with BTS fans at midnight. While talking about many things, Jungkook mentioned meeting BOYNEXTDOOR. They visited him while he was practicing his dance for his new song “Seven” and gave him their debut album WHO! Jungkook said, “When I was practicing ‘Seven,’ BOYNEXTDOOR came to say hi. It was interesting because they looked really young, and it made me feel a bit old. They also gave me their album. As they left, I could hear them cheering. It was really cute.”
JAEHYUN from BOYNEXTDOOR was thrilled to meet Jungkook from BTS. JAEHYUN is a fan of Jungkook and shared his excitement online. He went to the group’s fan community called Weverse and posted a video where he’s shaking his hands together with happiness. He captioned it, “I’m such a successful fan… really… really… really… Successful fan”. JAEHYUN also showed his love for Jungkook by posting a cover of Jungkook’s song “Seven” on BOYNEXTDOOR’s official Twitter. He wrote, “I sang ‘Seven’ by Jungkook, whom I admire!
